I could not even imagine the level of fun that would have been to come home to a fully built custom outdoor playhouse. To have a space to create our own games and pretend to be anyone we wanted to be. That’s the inspiration I had now grown up building million-dollar homes and realizing that I can bring this dream to life for my daughter, and maybe yours too. As a parent now, I think about giving my kids what I didn’t have—a real outdoor playhouse. This made even more sense when we got into understanding the learning pluses to how playhouses weave into growing up.
Another great thing about having a playhouse is the memories we can make together. Building it as a family is an experience in itself. Whether it’s putting together a DIY playhouse kit or painting it together, these moments become lifelong memories. For the kids, it’s a space where they can be themselves, make their own rules, and feel free. Taking part and being invited into their space is a great feeling. Our kids spend their entire worlds in our lives, in our homes. This gives them a small corner to be the leader, to bring dad and mom along their adventure.
An outdoor playhouse is more than just a toy. It’s a place where kids can let their imaginations run wild, where they can play freely, and where they can grow in ways we might not even notice. And as a parent, I love knowing that I can give my kids something that’s healthy, fun, and helps them learn about the world around them.
In the end, every kid deserves a space like this—a little world of their own.
